A recent Oxford Research Paper indicates that Robots are more threat to males than females. They are likely to replace more males in the work place. The usage of Robots in the beginning is going to be for more male dominated categories like construction and logistics. We already experienced this in the welding shops of most of the auto majors. Even when the Robots get introduced to other areas, females would still be less affected! Robots can’t perform a role requiring high level of emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is where females score over males and therefore even when the Robots make inroads to other work categories, they would be capturing more male domains, says the research paper. However with the advancement in artificial intelligence, female domains may not be safe for long too!
